A year after the rumors first surfaced, Xiaomi confirmed that they will produce smartwatch.

Reporting from GizmoChina, Liu De, co-founder and Vice President Xiaomi announced at a conference in Beijing that the manufacturer plans to release a smartwatch in the middle of the year. Talk with their partners about Huami will begin this quarter.

Xiaomi Smartwatch is said to be supporting large dial, terbiat metal chassis and comes with an identification pulse wave velocity.
